Special: de hits van het Eurovisiesongfestival

Komende week is het zover: het 68ste Eurovisiesongfestival vindt plaats in Malmö, Zweden. Daarom in deze speciale blogpost aandacht voor de 82 Songfestival-inzendingen die tot nu toe in de FZ Top 40 hebben gestaan. Ik tel daarin ook 2020 mee, ook al ging het feestje toen niet door.

Per jaar

Het aantal songfestivalhits per jaar is niet gelijk verdeeld. In zowel 2012 als 2013 haalden maar 2 inzendingen de FZ Top 40. Dat lijkt nu echt onvoorstelbaar. Hier volgt het aantal hits en totaal aantal punten per jaar:

2012: 2 hits, 57 punten (ik schaam me er enigszins voor hoe weinig punten Euphoria heeft)
2013: 2 hits, 158 punten
2014: 4 hits, 112 punten
2015: 5 hits, 827 punten
2016: 7 hits, 717 punten
2017: 5 hits, 985 punten
2018: 9 hits, 1542 punten
2019: 9 hits, 1985 punten

2021: 10 hits, 3126 punten (waarvan ongeveer een derde voor Zitti E Buoni)
